Server was curt, did not tell us about the specials, the ice water tastes terrible, the fries were dry and cold. Still halfway through my meal they asked me if I wanted a box, then came by to offer to clear my plate. Fending these people off while eating was super annoying. They are there to process people and make money and not to give their customers a memorable experience 😥

This is a must-stop in Mariposa. Quality you can taste, amazing drinks and top notch service. What more can you ask for while visiting or traveling through to Yosemite?!?! Im still not sure which is better here, the food or the drinks... Whatever reason brings you to 1850, you'll be in the right place and leave happy. Bloody mary mix to die for, Bootjack beer for the homecrowd win! Don't forget to grab some cool merch on your way out and let everyone you support such a great place!

Found ourselves here while staying in Mariposa. We're self proclaimed brewery buffs, and 1850 passed every one of our tests. Good food, beers, atmosphere, staff, etc. Definitely recommend.

Nice bar with nice service. Burgers are very good but the sweet potato fries stole the show.

We stopped for dinner at 1850 on the way to our hotel in Oakhurst before a visit to Yosemite. Non-fast-food options with a dog in tow were limited, but consider us lucky to have stumbled across this place. What a gem! Although a little incredulous at our request to sit on the patio—it was a very cold December night—the staff was so accommodating. They got the outdoor heaters fired up, and provided exceptional service to us even though it meant they would be in & out of the cold as well. I got the tri tip, and my boyfriend got a burger. The food was great, although (thanks to Mother Nature) things didn’t stay warm very long. Mariposa is full of twinkle lights this time of year… it was quiet, not many people out, but just magical. We are so very thankful for their hospitality to two tourists & their pup on a cold winters night!

It has an extensive beer menu, we ordered a red fruit one. We ate hamburgers, a blue and a mushroom, accompanied with fries and onion rings that were very crispy. The burgers were very large and delicious, remember to ask for the meat well cooked (one of the burgers came red and we had to return it so they could cook it better). Good service, family atmosphere
